Job Description

You will be contacted directly by the facility after applying to this position.Specialization:Orthopaedic SurgeryJob Summary:HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking an orthopedic surgery APP with first assist interest or experience to assist a busy employed Orthopedic surgeon in southeast Houston TX.Qualified candidates:APP with orthopedic surgery experience preferred.Certification as a PA or NPAbility to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical licenseMust have strong orthopedic experience or passion for orthopedic surgery.Responsibilities:Run independent clinic alongside Attending Orthopedic SurgeonEvaluate independent Orthopedic Consults in Emergency Department and on Floor at two facilitiesAssist in the Operating Room with procedures positioning and closureAssist in clinical setting with patient issues and prescriptionsExposure to teaching and sport coverage opportunities if desiredIncentive/Benefit Details:Competitive salaryComprehensive benefits include health dental vision 401k paid time off malpractice covered
