Job Description

The Beacon CTRM Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging the gap between trading operations and technology teams. This role involves analyzing business requirements designing and implementing solutions within the Beacon CTRM platform and ensuring that trading operations are optimized for efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis:

    • Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across the trading risk management and compliance teams.
    • Conduct detailed analysis of trading workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Beacon CTRM Implementation:

    • Configure and customize the Beacon CTRM platform to meet business requirements.
    • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate Beacon CTRM with other internal and external systems.
  • Project Management:

    • Lead and manage projects related to the implementation and enhancement of the Beacon CTRM platform.
    • Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Training and Support:

    • Provide training and support to endusers to ensure effective utilization of the Beacon CTRM platform.
    • Develop training materials and documentation.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Design and implement custom reports and dashboards within Beacon CTRM.
    • Analyze trading data to provide insights and recommendations to the trading and risk management teams.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure that all solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.
    • Monitor and report on compliance issues.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 35 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the commodities trading sector.
    • Proven experience with Beacon CTRM platform is essential.
    • Strong understanding of commodities markets particularly in specific commodities such as oil gas metals etc..
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with the Beacon CTRMs Pythonbased architecture.
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Experience with SQL and database management.
    • Knowledge of API integrations and data visualization tools.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong project management abilities.
    • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloudbased implementations.
  • Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in commodities trading.
