Job Description
CNC Operator
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma GED or equivalent preferred.
- One to two years of operating CNC plasma machines preferred.
- Valid State Drivers License.
- Forklift Certified preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes executes and adheres to the companys safety program.
- Loads and unloads trucks with raw and processed steel material by safely operating a forklift.
- Creates and/or uploads programs via PC to specific CNC machine to process steel materials.
- Processes and handles small to large pieces of steel materials via CNC machines.
- Carries and moves supplies as needed.
- Cuts various parts of product assembly.
- Cuts standard parts for stock in shop area as needed.
- General cleaning and maintenance of CNC machine area.
- Coordinates with supervisor to track material need for all projects and stock items.
- Performs other duties or task as required based on companys needs.
