Job Description
A construction company located in Gap PA is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join their team. This person will be the technical expert in construction safety for the construction operations team project management team construction supervisors foreman and laborers. This will be accomplished by improving existing construction safety programs developing coordinating and delivering relevant training programs and building rapport and working relationships with employees in the construction division. The Construction Safety Director will also interface with outside customers including project owners general contractors subcontractors and government agencies. Required knowledge: Construction Site Safety; Fall protection; Confined spaces Cranes Rigging and Crane Signaling; Mobile Elevated Working Platform Training/Evaluation Powered Industrial Truck Training/Evaluation; Personal Protective Equipment; Ergonomic Evaluation. Required experience: 5 to 10 years of construction safety experience; B.S. in EHS safety science engineering industrial hygiene or related discipline; GSP ASP or CSP preferred; CHST or STSC required if none of the above. #IND
