Caterpillar Inc. seeks Data Specialist at its facility located at 501 SW Jefferson Ave Peoria IL 61630.
Program and manage projects and development assignments. Work directly on complex application and technical problem identification and resolution. Work on infrastructure components that may be used by one or more applications or systems. Drive application development focused on business needs. Guide the development of a structured application and interface code new program and operations documentation. Direct the development debugging and testing of application software for accuracy integrity interoperability and completeness. Perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing of components.
REQS: This position requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 5 Years of progressive experience related to development on objectoriented and function programming languages (Python Java or Scala) or related occupation.
In the alternative the employer will accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 2 Years of progressive experience related to development on objectoriented and function programming languages (Python Java or Scala) or related occupation.
Additionally the applicant must have employment experience with: 1 Data integration development; 2 Building DevOps CICD pipelines using Azure DevOps Jira and Jenkins; and 3 Software tools and technologies including AWS Lambda EMRC and SQS/SNS.
Summary Pay Range:
$ 132101.00 to $143520
