The Opportunity

The TECKpert IT Business Analyst works closely with customers and team members to understand and gather business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organizations architectural standards.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

The ideal IT Business Analyst has experience in systems analysis

• Write test plans and execute test strategies.
• Gather and document customer requirements.
• Record and publish meeting notes.
• Coordinate enduser training.
• Recommend system solutions and develop enhancement plans.
• Conduct costbenefit comparisons for small to mediumsized projects.

Compensation and Term

This opportunity is for a fulltime one year contract position with possible extensions with pay commensurate with experience up to $62400per year. Medical dental vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.Varies based on experience.

Qualifications you need

A successful IT Business Analyst possesses or provides the following:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two 2 years of experience using requirements gathering tools.
• At least two 2 years of IT work experience including two years as an IT Business Analyst using a Software Development Methodology.
• At least one 1 year of experience working on IT Infrastructure and Software Development Projects as a Business Analyst.
• Experience working on multiple small to mediumsized projects involving various technologies and functions.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) along with strong skills in ownership teamwork accountability conflict resolution and analysis.
• Ability to drive assigned projects to successful completion.
