Job Description
Hilbish Ford is seeking a candidate to fill a full time position as an install tech of mainly 12 volt electronics in public service vehicles. Vehicles include police fire EMS security and private vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Install new and used equipment in vehicles according to customer specifications.
Document service and installation action in accordance with company standard operating procedure.
Perform electronic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
Adjust repair and/or replace defective wiring and relays in ignition lighting and safety control systems.
Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
Reassemble and test equipment after repairs.
Install new fuses electrical cables and power distribution sources as required. Locate remove and/or repair circuit defects such as blown fuses circuit breakers and defective emergency equipment.
Requirements:
Knowledge of vehicle interior tear down. (Panels dashboard door panels seats etc.
12 Volt automotive skills. (Relays diodes and wiring)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Problem Solving and the ability to do so.
