We are looking to bring onboard a motivated Senior Process Mechanical Engineer. This senior technical role leads innovative solutions and delivers high quality projects for our internal existing and new clients. Builds and strengthens commercial awareness and takes some responsibility for coaching and technically developing the team.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Analyze client RFPs technical specifications and requirements in terms of mechanical and piping engineering principles and requirements.
- Prepare budgets and schedules for input into proposals.
- Prepare mechanical and piping system designs calculations specifications and reports.
- Supervise designers to prepare 3D model and drawings.
- Coordinate hydraulic transient and stress analyses of critical piping systems.
- Prepare progress reports for the mechanical discipline on assigned projects.
- Review and markup contractor and supplier submittals and shop drawings.
- Interact with other discipline teams (process instrumentation and controls structural civil electrical) as well as internal and external clients to coordinate and achieve project objectives within the assigned budget and schedule.
- Train and mentor less experienced team members.
- Complete QA/QC reviews and peer reviews completed by others within the mechanical discipline.
- Ensure technical communication is clear concise and well understood by partners across different levels of management (both internal and external clients)
- Communicate and interface regularly with clients as well as vendors and contractors.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario Canada.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within a range of industries including water wastewater storm water renewable natural gas hydrogen agricultural food and beverage power generation cogeneration and industrial facility facilities.
- Experience in gas handling compression and treatment systems for natural gas and/or landfill gas; hydrogen handling blending and storage for Future Energy projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with BIM 360 REVIT AutoCAD Revizto and NavisWorks or similar 3D coordination tools.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle a wide range of client and project types and requirements
- Strong analytical mechanical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to lead and multitask in a team environment while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to be able to effectively express technical information to multiple audiences including clients contractors and field staff.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable industry coded and standards and familiarity with industry best practices
