Work Schedule:

100 FTE 312hour shifts with additional 12 hour shift every month. Shifts are 5 AM 5 PM or 6 AM 6 PM. Future 1:6 weekend rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational need.

As an Advanced Practice Provider youll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing highquality costeffective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:

  • Provide comprehensive care to adult otolaryngology patients in an inpatient setting and collaboration with interdisciplinary team consisting of residents speech/swallow therapy case management and nursing
  • First Assist in the OR (preferred but not required)
  • Assist with the following procedures: Nasal Cautery Rigid Nasal Endoscopy Flexible Diagnostic Laryngoscopy and Tracheostomy Changes.
  • Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients/families with acute chronic and/or potential health problems.

Education:

Minimum

If Nurse Practitioner: Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant: Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited PA Program.

Preferred Masters degree or higher.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum

If Nurse Practitioner:Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as a NP. These include the following: Adult; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Gerontology.

If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire. CPR certification and advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS PALS NRP).
