Minimum Qualifications
Juris Doctorate from accredited US law school.
5 years total experience including 3 years in the electric utility industry.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Preferred candidates should have experience and familiarity with administrative law concepts applicable to an Electric Cooperative Municipal Utility State Public Service Commission the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission or a Regional Transmission Organization.
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing the utility industry including regulatory agencies lending institutions transactional and other legal disciplines.
Effective personal skills to produce good working relationships with people in many situations.
Ability to express oneself clearly both verbally and in writing.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proven experience in document drafting the legislative process business law and administrative law.
This role demands strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex legal provisions clearly to nonlegal stakeholders.
This position may be eligible for remote work consistent with Cooperative Teleworking Management Guidelines but must be able to work at the Little Rock office as needed.
