About the Role
As the Residential Care Coordinator you will:
- Lead and support House Supervisors and Residential Care staff.
- Ensure the delivery of highquality care based on therapeutic and traumainformed principles.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders including Community Service Organisations and State Government agencies.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and support positive outcomes for young people.
This permanent role is based in Canberra and reports to the Regional Manager.
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role youll need:
- A bachelors degree in Social Work or a related field or extensive experience with a qualification in Youth Work Welfare or a similar discipline.
- Proven experience in child protection child welfare or a related field.
- Strong networking skills with Community Service Organisations and Government agencies.
- Excellent teamwork initiative and decisionmaking skills.

- Valid Drivers Licence.
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop).
- Employee Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (MacKillop can assist with this).
