Job Description
Nurse Practitioners needed for the ER at the Charlie Norwood VA Health Care System 950 15th Street Augusta GA 30901.
The number of experienced Emergency Department Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants required to be on site daily is to be flexible but a minimum of 2 on weekdays and 1 on weekends.
A Nurse Practitioner shall have a current license to practice medicine consistent with his or her training and professional designation in any State Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property. Physician Assistants must have a license in the same state as the supervising physician.
Certifications for Advanced Practice Providers All Contractors Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants shall be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
