This position requires fifteen 12hour shifts per month 7am7pm assigned based on surgeons requests. Must work a combination of day weekend and holiday shifts. The APP is to be available for all emergency room and inpatient surgical consults during their shift as well as first assisting in the OR and inpatient rounding. Postop patients are to be followed up with on an outpatient basis at our downtown general surgery OP clinic. The APP is scheduled for 1 to 2 OP clinics per month.
