Job Description
As the logistics department continues to expand acquiring more vehicles distributing more uniforms using more fuel and investing more money into this ever growing business unit it is imperative to track analyze and use this data to make better predictions regarding future business operations. To help track this data the logistics department needs a dedicated analyst. The analyst will be responsible for tracking all the aforementioned metrics as well as make predictions about future operations. Moreover this position will provide stability into a volatile and rapidly expanding business unit.
Responsibilities
- Manage Existing fleet in field
- Monitor quality assurance of all vehicles
- Coordinate all aspects of recalls vehicle upgrades repairs
- Analyze all fleet metrics provided by Enterprise as well as metrics gathered internally (lighthouse etc.
- Develop SOPs surrounding vehicle maintenance claims cleanliness fuel etc.
- Collect data on scheduling procedures and production output
- Communicate with colleagues to provide feedback on their efficiency and suggest methods to improve
- Evaluate areas of supply chain operations that require improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university required
- Background in engineering science or mathematical discipline required
- Ability to travel approximately 30 of the year
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Word Excel)
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment particularly across various business units and functions
- Good communication skills
- Working knowledge of statistical programming (Python SQL) a plus
- Working knowledge of data visualization programming (Tableau) a plus
- Background in machine learning (Orange) a plus
