Work Schedule:
80 FTE parttime position. 7 days on 7 days off. Week 1 schedule: Thursday Friday Saturday 10:30PM 7:30AM. Week 2 schedule: Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday 10:30PM 7:30AM. Weekends holiday and call rotation required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Potential opportunity to work additional hours up to 1.0 FTE.
Pay:UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay. This position will work at University Hospital in Madison WI. You may be eligible for a $16000 signon bonus.

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Xrayto:
- Perform a wide variety of imaging examson adults geriatric patients adolescents and pediatric age groupsusinga wide variety of radiographic equipment computers detectors and plate readers.
- Troubleshoot basic maintenance participate in QA and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
- Bring your knowledge to make quick and highly technical decisions in order to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology.
- Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and participate in the instruction of other technologists and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.

Education:
Minimum Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
Preferred Bachelors degree in relevant field.
Work Experience:
Minimum Previous healthcare experience.
Preferred Two 2 years clinical experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum
- Certification by appropriate body (ARRT) and valid Wisconsin Radiological License.
- CPR certification required within three months of hire.
- If Bone Mineral Densitometry is part of the hired role Bone Mineral Densitometry certification within 30 months of hire.
Preferred
- Radiology certification.
- If Bone Mineral Densitometry is part of the hired role: ARRT Bone Densitometry Technologist (BD) or ISCD Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) within 1 year of completing orientation.
