Job Description
Location: Cape Town
Industry: Packaging
RPO Recruitments client in the packaging industry are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail be safetyconscious and have previous experience operating a forklift in a fastpaced packaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to safely and efficiently move materials and products around the packaging plant
- Load and unload trucks and containers with packaging materials and finished products
- Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance as needed
- Keep accurate records of inventory and materials movement
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or packaging environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and multitask effectively
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
