Job Description
Functional Areas of Responsibility
- Accurate quantity takeoff
- Cost estimating
- Productivity analysis
- Business partner solicitation
- Development of vendor bid tabs and selection
- Scheduling
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications
- Perform quantity takeoff as directed
- Preparation of discipline cost estimates
- Assist in solicitation of subcontractor and supplier quotes to assure sufficient coverage of all scopes of work
- Assist in schedule preparation and analysis
Qualifications Required for this Position
Education
- Bachelors degree in related field (engineering or construction management degree preferred) or equivalent experience
Experience
- Basic knowledge of construction documents construction techniques and equipment capabilities
- High degree of accuracy with work product and calculations
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Oral and written communication skills
