Your tasks at a glance
- You sterilize instruments and set up tools as needed.
- You reassure patients before and after their procedure and ensure they feel at ease showing empathy.
- You clearly explain the postoperative medication (eye drops) schedule to patients.
- You coordinate the flow of patients in and out of the operating room.
- You are comfortable working on your feet in the operating room.
- You are a stickler for details and work with precision and accuracy.
A clear view of your assets
- You have a sense of responsibility and take your role seriously.
- You have a definite interest in the field of health and hightech devices.
- You are comfortable with computers technology and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
- You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
- Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometric assistant orderly dental assistant pharmacy lab technician sterilization assistant animal health technician assistant etc..
- You have excellent communication skills you speak Englishet franais galement(advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our Frenchspeaking patients).
- Schedule: You are available to work Monday to Friday from 6:30 am until the end of the surgery schedule (flexibility required for occasional Saturdays).
