Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and coordination of work on multidiscipline projects ranging from due diligence/site feasibility studies site engineering through regulatory approvals and full permitting for full range of site development projects.
  • Develop site layout and design including site grading and storm drainage roadway design water and sewer infrastructure erosion and sediment control.
  • Prepare hydrology and hydraulic calculations and be knowledgeable of NYSDEC storm water drainage and SWPPP requirements.
  • Perform project administration including writing reports gathering information writing proposals & correspondence tracking project costs and completing progress reports.
  • Prepare engineers opinion of probable costs for designed projects and specifications for public bids.
  • Coordinate with other engineering and architectural departments within the firm.
  • Relationship building and communication directly with clients in support and coordination of all project activities.
  • Working both independently and as a team with other professionals and technicians dependent on project/task.
  • Responsible for the ontime on budget high quality technical delivery of all project requirements.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
  • 15 years design experience with a specific focus on site development projects
  • Strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills Autoturn Excel and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices of related technical areas.
  • Selfmotivated capable of working independently or within project teams.
  • Teamspirited focused and able to make independent decisions.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • PE required.

The salary range for this role is $annually.

The employment offer may deviate from this publishedrange based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience specialty knowledge education geography and/or related certifications not related to any applicants characteristics protected by local state or federal law. Note: The salary or hourly rate indicated does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
