Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Design and coordination of work on multidiscipline projects ranging from due diligence/site feasibility studies site engineering through regulatory approvals and full permitting for full range of site development projects.
- Develop site layout and design including site grading and storm drainage roadway design water and sewer infrastructure erosion and sediment control.
- Prepare hydrology and hydraulic calculations and be knowledgeable of NYSDEC storm water drainage and SWPPP requirements.
- Perform project administration including writing reports gathering information writing proposals & correspondence tracking project costs and completing progress reports.
- Prepare engineers opinion of probable costs for designed projects and specifications for public bids.
- Coordinate with other engineering and architectural departments within the firm.
- Relationship building and communication directly with clients in support and coordination of all project activities.
- Working both independently and as a team with other professionals and technicians dependent on project/task.
- Responsible for the ontime on budget high quality technical delivery of all project requirements.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
- 15 years design experience with a specific focus on site development projects
- Strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills Autoturn Excel and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices of related technical areas.
- Selfmotivated capable of working independently or within project teams.
- Teamspirited focused and able to make independent decisions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- PE required.
The salary range for this role is $annually.
The employment offer may deviate from this publishedrange based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience specialty knowledge education geography and/or related certifications not related to any applicants characteristics protected by local state or federal law.
