Position Summary
The Department of Psychiatry at UNC Chapel Hill is seeking to hire a Masters level clinician to participate in the research and clinical activities of the Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders CEED . This position will be responsible for working in a multidisciplinary team framework to provide primarily outpatient therapy services to patients of all ages with eating disorders. Responsibilities will include conducting psychological evaluations and providing individual family couple and group psychotherapy. Clinical services may at times be delivered in CEEDs inpatient program as well. The Clinical Instructor will also be available to serve as a therapist for funded clinical trials as part of her or his primary duties.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy familybased treatment dialectical behavioral therapy and/or couple therapy is preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
