Job Description

This position functions as aJourneylevel HVAC Technician. Installs and maintains heating ventilation and air conditioing systems. May work with refrigeration units and boiler systems. Diagnoses and repairs problems and installs and replaces components or entire systems. Typically previous experience and technical training is required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assure that the integrity of resort assets is maintained.
  • Assure all work performed conform to all applicable state and local codes.
  • Coordinate projects with subcontractors and area managers with minimal or no down time to operations.
  • Ability to work well with other departments and area managers within the resort.
  • Perform daily duties with minimal supervision; keep required paper work and job logs updated daily.
  • Ensure that prescribed preventative maintenance is being conducted and logged properly.
  • Maintain skill level through training classes in the related field.
  • Maintain a Valid Colorado Drivers License
  • Follow all safety procedures and alert supervisor to any unsafe conditions that may occur.
  • Order and maintain parts required for critical equipment

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years experience in HVAC or plumbing trade required
  • EPA certification for refrigerant transion and recovery
  • Working knowledge of basic computer software programs
  • Valid drivers license
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing mechanical and electrical systems
  • Strong attention to detail
