Primary Function
The Facilities Project Leader is pivotal for implementing global facility management best practices and executing projects. The successful candidate will work daily with facilities managers and a variety of stakeholders to build an Integrated Facility Management Program that incorporates best practices in all hard and soft services. The role is also responsible for supporting the optimization of Rehlkos real estate portfolio.
Key responsibilities
System liaison for the CoStar platform
Track and managing facilities work orders and projects using our CMMS and project management software.
Oversee contractors perform site visits to monitor progress and quality of work performed by contractors vendors and consultants develop and control project budgets managing project documentation and coordination of contractors with internal personnel
Provide management with uptodate status on assigned projects to include budgets costs and schedules
Responsibilities also include managing project meeting minutes maintaining organized project documents and files chairing kickoff routine initiative meetings and driving results.
Accountable for creating SCOPE documents RFIs and reviewing shop drawings
Manages the review of submittals and variation orders.
Responsible for project modeling including detailed cost estimates installations contractors schedule logistics plans contractors safety plan and quality control plan
Assist in the design and engineering of construction/renovation activities
Review and approve contractor schedules of values payment applications and vendor invoices
Coordinate project closeout sessions lessons learned/after action reports assemble and review asbuilt drawings and specifications operation and maintenance manuals warranties and other closeout documentation to assure completion of work per the project requirements
Support Facilitiesrelated activities and programs as assigned related to: Security Custodial Energy Roads and Grounds MRO Roofing System HVAC Uniforms Building Envelope etc.
Develop dashboards and reports to identify trends in leading and lagging performance to influence portfolio decision making.
Completes monthly data reviews to identify areas of opportunity while driving increased awareness and accountability into our property management discipline.
Responds to adhoc data requests related to portfolio optimization.
Manages configuration and content of the Facilities SharePoint site and Teams channels.
Participating in and Leading in Kaizen events and Treasure Hunts focused on savings and continuous improvements regulatory compliance and company requirements.
Supports Real Estate activities and programs as assigned related to property purchase lease sale and sublease of offices warehouse manufacturing plants and distribution centers.
Education & Experience
Degree in Business Engineering Project Management or similar required. Post graduate qualification(s) preferred.
7 10 years of experience preferably in manufacturing industry. (Global Experience target may be impacted by facility/site complexity)
Relevant preferred certifications:
CPM CPSM Lean / Six Sigma PMP PM LEED S.M.S.T.S IOSH CFM CPMM CHFM CCM PE
The salary range for this position is $76050 $96050. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience their education and the work location. Available benefits include medical dental vision & 401k.
