About the Team:
Engineering Center in BielskoBiaa as an independent unit focuses on designing mechatronic systems prototype production and testing as well as acoustic and mechanical validation and software development for the ZF Chassis Solution Division. We currently employ about 300 people.
What you can look forward to as Senior Safety Engineer (m/f/d):
- Responsible for the analysis of Electric Power Steering (EPS) system safety at all levels through a series of formal safety analyses (including hazard analysis Hazard Testing FMEA and FTA). Products can include applications for Steering systems with Autonomous Driving and / or SbW functionality.
- Responsible for working within the project teams to ensure development and compliance for safety case.
- Liaise with the customer to set safety acceptance standards to develop customerspecific safety analyses and to ensure that the customers safety expectations are met.
- Ensure that the supplybase is fully aware of the safetyrelated requirements and responsibilities.
Your profile as Senior Safety Engineer (m/f/d):
- Successfully completed Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related subject
- Experience in Safety Engineering with a working knowledge of ISO26262 and an awareness of any other Legislative Safety Requirements
- Experience of safety analyses of electromechanical safetyrelated products including participation and organisation of hazard analysis failure mode effect analysis and fault tree analysis
- Knowledge of statistical methods used for reliability analysis and design of validation test regimes
- Fluent English language skill (verbal and written) and a meticulous attention to detail
