Join our team as an entry level Mechanical Assembler I where you will play a crucial role in assembling aircraft Crew Seating in a largescale manufacturing environment. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the smooth flow of work and upholding our highquality standards in both standard and nonstandard environments. This position operates on a 5x8 schedule MondayFriday with the possibility of overtime when needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Under direct supervision assembles components by examining connections for correct fit fastening parts and subassemblies per customer order.
  • Performs routine and standard tasks with minimal assistance.
  • Reads and assembles per standard work or blueprint instructions with some guidance.
  • May track and receive the required parts for product area. May check stock bins for adequate supplies of subassemblies parts and fasteners for the particular work order. Contacts material handler or Lead if shortages exist or incorrect parts are in bins.
  • Participates in all team standups and uses safe ergonomic practices in performing job.
  • May pack finished product into designated carton.
  • Participates in EHS risk reduction activities.
  • May perform other job duties as required and available for overtime as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior manufacturing experience
