A day in the life.

As a Senior Account Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of services to our transportation clients. Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing customized service plans building strong relationships with clients understanding their needs negotiating coverage and managing proposals and renewals. You will also engage in strategic holistic planning for clients gaining a comprehensive understanding of their business.

Wed love to meet you if your professional track record included these skills:

  • 5 years of transportation experience ideally working with large trucking companies 150500 units).
  • Deep technical knowledge of Property & Casualty business related to the transportation industry including workers compensation and alternative risk programs such as captives RRG and indemnity products.
  • Ability to analyze the insurance marketplace to develop and implement effective brokering strategies for transportation placements while maintaining strong relationships with carrier partners and seeking new opportunities.
  • Selfstarter with strong critical thinking skills and a proven track record of building and nurturing professional relationships.
  • Ability to interpret complex documents including insurance policies applications and proposals while providing coverage analysis and risk management recommendations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Excel Word and Agency Management Systems to complete applications prepare submissions and negotiate coverage and pricing.
  • Property & Casualty license required

These additional qualifications are a plus but not required to apply:

  • BS/BA in Business Insurance or related field
  • CPCU ARM CISR or other professional insurance designation related to Property & Casualty
  • Experience working with Applied Epic agency management system
  • Available to travel for client meetings as needed
