Job Description

IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT ANALYST III

POSITION TYPE: Permanent Fulltime

LOCATION: Edmonton AB

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides product service or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.

  • Determines improvements by analyzing costbenefit ratios of technical solutions in client environments and proposing changes in equipment and processes.

  • Gains customer acceptance by clearly explaining or demonstrating process and operations improvements.

  • Supports client retention by providing technical information.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing professional publications establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.

  • Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying shortterm and longrange issues that must be addressed recommending options and courses of action and implementing directives.

  • Provide professional aftersales support to maximize customer loyalty.

  • Responds to client problems and resolves issues to the customers satisfaction helping to maintain the client relationship.

  • Keeps clear records of activities client communications and needs in CRM system.

  • Maintains and creates technical quoting templates.

  • Initiates all new work orders with Operations and Project Team by communicating client commitments and expectations.

  • Works closely with the Operations Team and Project Team to follow up on existing deployments and projects to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Networks with Shing partners to nurture working relationships and coordinate sales efforts.

  • Participates in corporate Webinars.

  • Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

IT Technical Support Analyst lll experience including:

  • Actively engage with clients on developing solutions for their ongoing needs

  • Lead plan and coordinate project related activities

  • Microsoft Level 3 certified designation

  • Level 3 Networking designation

  • 57 years experience installing planning and maintaining Microsoft Office 365

  • 57 years experience installing planning and maintaining Windows Servers Active Directory and Group Policies.

  • 57 years experience working with managed network equipment

  • 57 years experience installing planning and maintaining backups

  • 57 years experience installing planning and maintaining server hardware
