As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking Risk Technology team you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. As a core technical contributor you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Executes creative software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Work independently to drive projects end to end utilizing the team members. Adhere to agility practices create groom track development stories.
- Develops secure highquality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors startups and internal teams to drive outcomesoriented probing of architectural designs technical credentials and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
- Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leadingedge technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
Required Qualifications Capabilities And Skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years of applied experience
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages Java Python SQL
- Proficient in private and public Cloud hosted Platform Pivotal Cloud AWS with Indepth knowledge in AWS EC2 S3 SQS SNS Lambda Glue PySpark Cloudwatch Step function
- Experienced in SRE and Observability tools Splunk Dynatrace and DataDog
- Proficient in Oracle DB2 and AW Aurora Postgress Database with hands on experience writing SQL
- Handson practical experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability
- Work in a big data environment handling structured semistructured and unstructured data
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD Application Resiliency and Security
- Communicate complex data insights effectively to nontechnical stakeholders through excellent verbal and written skills.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities And Skills
- Experience in Data Pipeline design and development
- Experience in AWS Glue EMR and PySpark
- Design and develop data pipelines using Snowflake and DataBricksto ingest enrich and validate data from multiple sources
- Reengineer and migrate onpremises data solutions to the cloud
