Job Description
- Serve as primary Project Engineering Manager representativefor as a field liaison between the client and engineering group.
- Provide engineering management and guidanceto subordinate staff enforces company and project policies and serves as a liaison between and client interface.
- Plan and manage work activitiesto ensure successful project while maintaining safety quality schedule and budget adherence.
- Work under the supervision of a Project Director or above demonstrating and providing project leadership in their area of responsibility.
- Supervise and delegate tasksamong staff.
- Monitor daytoday activitiesand consistently demonstrate the ability to identify potential project problems proactively or opportunities analyze the issues using all appropriate resources develop alternatives and arrive at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of resources and capabilitiesof other groups for appropriate incorporation into project organization.
- Clearly understand the scope of work and contract requirements or those requirements that pertain to his/her area of responsibility.
- Support or conduct formal status reportingand presentations to client and/or management.
Requirements
What were looking for:
- BS Engineering Degreefrom an accredited university with course work in energy conversion and power systems.
- PE Licensein any state with the ability to be licensed in other states by Comity.
- Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Experienceworking in a U.S.based nuclear power plant.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted accessat a nuclear power plant.
- Experience working with othersin a Project Team environment.
Preferred Requirements:
- MS in an Engineering discipline with a Power focus.
- Field experience / Walkdownson power projects.
- Electrical and/or Instrumentation & Controls Engineering background.
- Experience Engineering Design Modification Packagesfor Nuclear Power plants.
