Job Description

Team JAS is looking for a driven goaloriented Sales Account Manager with a passion for results to join our team in Jacksonville FL. We serve a global customer base of airlines OEMs and MROs with distribution component repair and PMA parts.

About The Position:
The Aircraft Parts Sales Account Manager is responsible for the management service and ultimate revenue growth of the assigned customer(s). Activities will include cold calling quoting/bidding order processes product pricing and becoming knowledgeable about all products and services offered by Team JAS. This position is responsible for maintaining uptodate and current product costs to provide accurate quotes to customers and potential customers. Those in this position must become knowledgeable about industrystandard processes and requirements. The Sales Account Manager will be the Team JAS expert on their assigned accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure industryleading service and support to our customers
  • Correspond with customers via email phone ILS Aeroxchange and Parts base for requests for price availability and lead time for the sale of parts and repairs
  • Continuously develop and grow customer relationships at all levels
  • Ensure Team JAS ERP System (Quantum Control) integrity and accuracy
  • Utilize company business system (Quantum Control) and portal data to identify and document customer needs and maintain continuous communication regarding open part orders SPECS and part availability
  • Gather information regarding airline fleets and possible changes to the fleets
  • Broker parts for customers as needed
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities noteworthy developments information or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company personnel
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients including spare packages
  • Identify and contact sales prospects and other accounts as assigned
  • Follow up on existing customers to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Create and manage sales orders until the order is fulfilled
  • Deliver work accurately and on time to customer expectations
  • Assist accounting with the collection of outstanding invoices

Youre also eager to master the ins and outs of our innovative products and services becoming a true expert in your role. The ideal candidate would possess the following traits and qualifications:

Technical Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Aerospace Industry Expertise: Familiarity with aircraft components systems and industry terminology especially related to commercial and regional aircraft.
  • Experience Selling in the Aviation Aftermarket: Proven ability to sell spare parts and MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) services effectively.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP Systems: Working knowledge of Quantum Control or similar platforms for managing customer accounts and sales processes.
  • DetailOriented: Accuracy in managing quotes contracts and customer records.

Sales Skills:

  • Experience: 35 years of proven success in sales particularly in the aviation industry.
  • Customerfocused: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify customer needs and align them with product and service offerings.

ProblemSolving Ability:

  • Collaboration: Teamoriented mindset to work effectively with internal departments like purchasing repair and logistics.
  • Analytical Skills: Capable of assessing customer inquiries and finding efficient costeffective solutions.
