INTRODUCTION
The School of Computing at the University of Connecticut invites applicants for a nontenure track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate ProfessorinResidence or Lecturer at the Storrs campus. The successful candidate will primarily contribute to the departments teaching program but is encouraged to pursue their academic interests and collaborate within the department. Preference will be given to candidates in the areas of Computer Architecture Computer Systems and Programming Languages.
The School of Computing at UConn harbors a rich environment of instruction offering four rigorous degrees in the computing sciences and a worldclass research enterprise. The department has experienced unprecedented growth in the last five years leading to new and exciting education and research initiatives for faculty and students. CSE has 47 fulltime faculty members with research areas including security machine learning bioinformatics systems and networking and big data analytics. For the more than 1300 undergraduate and 150 graduate students this topnotch college experience is heightened by the departments successful recruiting of awardwinning faculty to support the next generation of computer scientists and engineers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will share a deep commitment to effective instruction at the undergraduate and graduate level development of innovative courses and mentoring of students outreach and professional development. The successful candidate will also be expected to broaden participation among members of underrepresented groups; demonstrate through teaching and/or public engagement the richness of diversity in the learning experience; integrate multicultural experiences into instructional methods and provide leadership in developing pedagogical techniques designed to meet the needs of diverse learning styles and intellectual interests.

APPOINTMENT TERMS
This is a fulltime 9month annually renewable nontenure track position with the possibility of subsequent annual academicyear reappointment contingent on positive reviews and program funding and may lead to a multiyear appointment. Employment is conditional upon the timely completion of an approved I9 (Employment Eligibility Verification Form). Candidates must be able to begin work on August 26 2025 for the semester start. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and interests.
