Nurse (RN/LPN) The Village at Brookwood (FullTime 7p7a)

The Village at Brookwood located in Burlington North Carolina is a member of The WellSpring Group of Greensboro North Carolina. The Village at Brookwood offers a full continuum of care services for older adults including independent living assisted living skilled nursing and memory care.

We are hiring a fulltime RN/LPN position in Heath Care

Duties to include:

Provide all direct resident care and adhere to the principles of the Residents Rights Policy.
Interpret policies and procedures to nursing assistants residents families and physicians.
Communicate vital information to clinical team during shift changes.
Conduct resident rounds daily reporting problems to Nursing Supervisor and initiating corrective action.
Utilize and execute The Nursing Process which requires assessing diagnosing planning implementing and evaluating resident care.
Perform and document comprehensive assessment of each resident.
Order administer and document medications and treatments per the physicians order and accurately record all care provided.
Coach nursing assistants and recommend disciplinary action when necessary to the Director of Nursing.

Successful candidates will have graduated from an approved School of Nursing and be currently licensed as a RN/LPN in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.Previous experience with geriatric residents is desirable.

Any offer of employment is contingent upon the results of a criminal background check drug screen and verification of employment and credentials.
