About the Role:
Anderson Powersports is seeking a Lot Porter/Detailer to join our team! This position is essential in ensuring that our vehicles and dealership grounds are clean organized and ready for customers. The Lot Porter plays a key role in creating a great first impression and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all vehicles ensuring they are washed and detailed.
- Prepare vehicles for delivery by checking for any damage cleanliness and drivability.
- Keep the dealership lot and showroom organized and presentable.
- Report any mechanical issues to the Service Manager immediately.
- Drive vehicles safely and responsibly within the dealership premises and between locations.
- Follow all dealership safety protocols including wearing seat belts and adhering to speed limits.
- Work efficiently to prevent comebacks and ensure vehicles are spotless for customers.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 years of licensed driving experience with a clean driving record (preferred).
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Previous car detailing or vehicle washing experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be safetyconscious and act responsibly at all times.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Outdoor work environment exposed to various weather conditions.
- Frequent standing walking bending kneeling lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Vision requirements include close and distance vision color recognition and depth perception.
- Some travel may be required to transport vehicles between dealership locations.
