Job Description
Professional advising for both undergraduate postbaccalaureate and graduate students interested in pursuing various health professions. Help coordinate academic advising as well as all advisingrelated outreach and communications in assigned units. Promote best practices of advising services in assigned units. Implement and assist with campuswide advising initiatives and assessment. Coteach HMED course. Assist the Director in facilitating and managing the multiyear process of students applications to health professions schools. Facilitate and plan support programs for students (entrance exam study groups peer advisors and mentors application help workshops and group advising sessions). Assist in all areas of application preparation for students. Communicating with prospective students and families about Health Professions Advising MSU Fridays prospective student meetings and other events.
