Azure DevOps Engineer with D365 and F&Oexperience
As a Data Engineer you will be responsible forbuilding and maintaining the systems and processes that allow for theextraction transformation and loading (ETL) of data from various sources intoour Azurebased data ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Providea detailed review and assessment of the enterprise data warehouse environment and proposed changes and implementation plan to improvescalability and performance
- Designand developSSIS ETL process using table partitioning with a focus on performanceimprovement of large tables
- Designand developPower BI reports to show SSIS package run duration and trend over time
- Performdata analysis and provided suggestions and feedback to the team to design and develop optimized SQL Queries and Stored Procedures (SCD Type1 SCD Type2 using Hash bytes) to improveperformance
- Designand implementan operational process to provide a highlevel summary of SQL Server and databaseenvironment to assist in the upgrade and migration of SQL Server databases tonewer versions
Requirements
3 Provenexperience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure technologies.
Experience with Azure Data Factory AzureSynapse Analytics Azure Stream Analytics Azure Event Hubs Azure Data LakeStorage Azure Databricks
Proficientin SQL and scripting languages (e.g. Python).
Strongunderstanding of data modeling and database design principles.
Experiencewith data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
Familiaritywith data integration and ETL tools.
Excellentproblemsolving and communication skills.
