Post Graduate Year One: Pharm.D. degree from ACPEaccredited college of pharmacy or equivalent experience. Post Graduate Year Two: Pharm.D. degree from ACPEaccredited college of pharmacy or equivalent experience and completion of ASHPaccredited PGY1 pharmacy residency. Post Graduate Year One: Alabama Pharmacist License and Controlled Substance Registration Certificate (if reciprocating from another state or more than six 6 months postgraduation from ACPEaccredited college of pharmacy) or Alabama Intern/Extern License is required. Must obtain Alabama Pharmacist License and Controlled Substance Registration Certificate by August 1st. Post Graduate Year Two: Alabama Pharmacist License and Controlled Substance Registration Certificate required (must obtain by agreed upon start date for the PGY2 residency).

Responsibilities:
Operating under the residency program director provides patientfocused pharmacy services designed to promote safe efficacious and costeffective medication therapy through the evaluation of new orders monitoring of patients therapeutic interventions pharmacokinetics consultations education and medication distribution while supporting the activities and programs of the division department and the hospital.
