Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse for a Radiology unit assignment in Everett WA. TheCatheterization Laboratory Nurse is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of specialized equipment assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and providing patient care during the procedures. The nurse works under the direct supervision of the physician and the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory manager or supervisor.

Responsibilities

Duties: Circulate Conscious Sedation Scrub

• Preparing patients for cardiovascular procedures
• Administering medications and preparing equipment for the procedure
• Assisting doctors during the catheterization procedure
• Monitoring patient vital signs during procedures
• Providing postprocedure care and assessment including monitoring for complications
• Educating patients and their families about the procedure postprocedure care and any followup treatments or appointments
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals such as cardiac physicians radiologists and anesthesiologists
• Maintaining patient records and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience (Required)
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required State License or Compact License
• Charting: EPIC
• Firsttime Travelers: Yes
• OnCall: Yes typically one weekend a month
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• COVID & FLU: COVID not required Flu is not noted
• Locals allowed: No requires that your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from location
• RTO Restrictions: must be listed at time of submittal
• Special Procedures: Required: Circulate Procedures & Procedural Sedation administration/Monitoring. Preferred: Scrub Procedures
