Responsibilities:
In this role you will work in collaboration with the pharmacy team providers clinic and nursing staff to provide excellent patient care for infusion therapy patients.
Medication Therapy Coordination including reviews for medication appropriateness and monitoring medication therapy
Evaluate appropriateness of chemotherapy and interdisciplinary clinic infusion orders which includes extensive clinical review
Provide patient education and medication expertise
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of an ASHPaccredited PGY1 residency or equivalent 3 years relevant experience)
PGY2 or Board Certification in Oncology
Experience working in an academic medical center
Relevant hematology/oncology work experience
Bachelors degree in Pharmacy required.Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Licensed Pharmacist by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required.
Full-Time
