As an Infrastructure & Green Economy Credit Risk Associate in the Infrastructure & Green Economy Credit Risk team you will work closely with senior team members and collaborate with various partners throughout the Bank. You will have the opportunity to enhance your analytical skills on highly structured transactions across a range of industries and countries.
Job responsibilities:
Interface closely with business teams to develop diligence questions by reviewing contracts forecasts/budgets financial statements construction reports operating reports etc.
Use strong analytical and problemsolving skills to understand and identify risks and recommend loan structures that protect JPMs interests in various structured transactions.
Build and maintain financial models to incorporate the impact of forwardlooking risk assessment on key drivers.
Support of transactions reviewing/structuring finance and commercial contracts making recommendations on capital structure exposure levels and risk grading.
Apply corporate finance and accounting expertise to prepare credit memorandums take ownership of credit approvals and manage booking processes.
Perform portfolio management activities including analyzing amendment and waiver requests periodic credit reviews ongoing counterparty and industry credit analysis monitoring of trading limits and negotiating documentation revisions.
Stay current on all aspects of assigned clients including industry trends portfolio performance compliance with covenants current events potential risks and opportunities.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
Bachelors Degree in accounting finance economics engineering or related field.
Professional work experience in financial services or consulting
Strong financial modeling skills and familiarity with financial statements including the ability to analyze capital structure profitability project build costs and cash flow.
Understanding of front office processes credit risk management and commercial requirements.
Selfmotivated individual who can work independently while effectively collaborating in a team environment. Ability to learn quickly with high attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills.
Good commercial acumen to balance risks and opportunities with the ability to build rapport and influence change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and organized.
Highly proficient in Excel (including analysis/control of large datasets) PowerPoint and Word.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
Experience in infrastructure finance or related fields.
Familiarity with green technology and energy transition sectors.
Strong networking and relationshipbuilding skills.
Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated leadership potential and strategic thinking.
Experience with project finance and structured transactions.
Knowledge of global investment banking and corporate banking practices.
