Position Summary
The University of North Carolina TEACCH Autism Program has positions for Psychologists/Clinical Faculty within multiple TEACCH regional centers across the state of North Carolina. The selected candidate will hold a faculty position as Clinical Assistant Associate or Full Professor (fixedterm faculty) commensurate with experience in the Department of Psychiatry UNC School of Medicine. Positions are potentially available at any of our locations across North Carolina: Asheville Chapel Hill Charlotte Greensboro Greenville Raleigh and Wilmington. Clinical Faculty at TEACCH engage in a combination of clinical research and teaching activities. Clinical opportunities include maintaining a diagnostic and treatment caseload of autistic clients across the lifespan consistent with faculty expertise. Teaching opportunities include supervising trainees providing consultation and training of other professionals locally nationally and internationally. TEACCH faculty engage in a variety of communitybased research activities with current research projects covering the lifespan from promoting access to care for Black toddlers transition to adulthood interventions and mental health intervention and services research for autistic adults and older adults. The successful candidates research activities may range from providing clinical services on an intervention trial evaluating assessment data from a research database of more than 14000 individuals diagnosed by TEACCH and/or pursuing independent research. The blend of clinical teaching and research activities will depend on the successful candidates expertise and career interests.

Prior experience in academic medical setting and/or in a highperforming clinical team.
