Caring Neonatal Team! Popular Suburban Atlanta Communities!

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced neonatal nurse practitioner to join our team of highly experienced boardcertified neonatologists and NNPs at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center and Emory Decatur Hospital.

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center Level III NICU (Snellville GA)

    • Our unit is an 18 Bed LevelIII NICU that cares for over 200 premature babies annually
    • NNPs work inhouse 24/7. Responsibilities will include providing medical management of critically ill neonates and Newborn Nursery care
    • Eastside Medical Center a Piedmont facility is a rapidly growing OB service line with over 1000 deliveries a year
    • The OB nursing team at Eastside has many years of practical as well as inservice education that maintains and updates their knowledge on mother/baby care
    • Eastside is a 310bed multicampus system that offers comprehensive medical and surgical programs including cardiovascular neurosciences oncology orthopedics rehabilitation behavioral health bariatric and 24 hour emergency care

Emory Decatur Hospital Level III NICU (Decatur GA)

    • Our practice is a 42bed LevelIII NICU with an ADC of 27
    • NNPs are provide 24/hour inhouse coverage
    • Subspecialty coverage is available.
    • NICU support services include neonatal respiratory therapy physical and occupational therapies and audiology services.
    • In addition to the prestigious BabyFriendly designation Dekalb Medical Center (now Emory Decatur Hospital) was also awarded a 5STAR Hospital Recognition from the Georgia Department of Public Health in 2015

Qualifications

  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a masters degree
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
