Job Description
United Water Restoration Group is seeking out a part time Groundskeeper/Maintenance person for our corporate office building in Ormond Beach. This position will typically be limited to two days a week but depending on projects could be more hours. This will NOT be a fulltime position.
As a groundskeeper/maintenance tech you will perform various light maintenance duties requiring basic labor skills light carpentry/construction and grounds keeping.
Your role will include but may not be limited to:
- Working closely with Ownership and management to maintain a clean safe and appealing property.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with all other employees management and owners working closely with them on all special maintenance projects
- Maintaining the grounds and facilities around the corporate office and two other properties located in Ormond Beach to include exterior grounds building landscape parking lots trash and common areas.
- Maintain grounds and common areas and keep them free from trash and debris
- Report maintenance concerns directly to management and perform repairs
- Address any grass tree weeds or other vegetation issues before lawn crew comes to cut.
- Conduct basic irrigation system repair
- You will be required to move heavy objects and you may be required to drive a company vehicle to various locations within the area.
- Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Experience and requirements:
- Residential or commercial grounds keeping or maintenance experience required
- Valid Drivers license
- Ability to pass a preemployment drug screening
Compensation: $18.00 $20.00
