Primary Purpose
The Parttime Instructor of Phlebotomy provides instruction to students in the Allied Health program directs student discussion and evaluates student performance in the classroom.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Provide instruction in Phlebotomy this includes lecturing and guiding in classroom activities providing individual conference time to guide and evaluate student progress. Teaching assignments may include courses taught during the day and/or evening delivered inperson (as conditions allow) or online synchronously or asynchronously. Utilize resources including technological resources such as a Learning Management System to support teaching activities as appropriate. Participate in collaborative efforts related to curriculum development and the evaluation of courses and academic programs. Perform other essential duties and tasks relevant to parttime instructor teaching assignments as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Education: Phlebotomy certification/license or other training such as (MD DO RN BSN CMA Experience: One year of relevant experience working in the field. Demonstrated successful teaching or evidence for the potential for excellence in teaching. License: National Phlebotomy Certificate/License.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience
