Job Description

This role is part of ourExperience & Engineering team in Germany. We combine technology and experience design to create emotive yet conversionfocused ideas products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is digital experiences and communication that change perceptions and shape new behaviours to make a difference in the market.

JOB PURPOSE

For our office in Hamburg we are looking for a Head of Project Management to lead develop and drive the strategic direction of our Project Management discipline. As an experienced leader you will be responsible for setting standards optimizing processes and ensuring the successful of digital projects at scale. You will foster a highperforming team culture enabling our project managers to deliver excellence while balancing efficiency quality and innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the strategic vision for the Project Management function ensuring alignment with business goals market trends and client needs.
  • Operational Excellence: Continuously improve and innovate project management methodologies processes and best practices to drive efficiency scalability and quality across all projects.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead mentor and develop the Project Management team ensuring professional growth and fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and accountability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders including clients internal teams and leadership to ensure alignment on project goals priorities and challenges.
  • Process Optimization: Implement and refine project governance frameworks ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Resource & Capacity Planning: Oversee project staffing and resource allocation to ensure optimal workload distribution and capability alignment within the team.
  • Innovation & Change Management: Identify industry trends emerging technologies and new ways of working translating them into strategic improvements and innovative project approaches.
  • Client Engagement & Business Growth: Support business development efforts by providing strategic input on pitches proposals and client discussions ensuring realistic scoping and highquality project .
  • Risk Management: Anticipate mitigate and resolve risks proactively ensuring that project delivery remains on track and client expectations are met or exceeded.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven leadership experience in project management within a digital agency consultancy or similar environment.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into operational improvements and team development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead mentor and develop teams fostering a highperformance culture.
  • Expertise in both agile and waterfall project management methodologies with the ability to adapt approaches based on project needs.
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce web development and digital experience platforms.
  • Experience managing largescale digital projects including complex multistakeholder environments.
  • Strong communication persuasion and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Ability to drive innovation optimize processes and implement best practices effectively.
  • Fluent in German and English (C1 proficiency required).
