Job Description

POSITION DUTIES SUMMARY: Responsible for operations in region. Review daytoday aviation operations: above/below and fuel. Meet or exceed customer KPIs. Define and implement operations strategy staffing processes. Ensure compliance through safety training and quality control programs. Monitor and enforce fuel quality control compliance. Manage budgeting process and P&L responsibilities. Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions. Maintain a working knowledge of all phases of aircraft servicing. Coordinate support to ensure seamless transition to aviation partners. Interview hire train and mentor the management team. Provide regular performance updates to the senior leadership team. The position does not plan and assign work or in any way supervise other employees. This is a high level advisory/director position where they will only provide processes to teams to implement but not oversee any particular individual. 80 domestic travel required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Five years experience in each of the following: airport operations management or related role; leading a team with an understanding of all aviation management practices including compliance and training; demonstrating airport and budget management skills by strategic planning of equipment needs and building contracts for expected labor needs; demonstrating strong business acumen with a broad understanding of fundamental business principles such as Key Performance indicators (KPI) hours per flight (HPF) and P&L profitability statements; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel); proficiency in UKG Pro Learning and Learning Management System (LMS) training and compliance; leadership of Aviation Operations including Above and Below Wing Start ups and Aircraft Fuel Operations; ensuring federal and state training requirements are met and/or exceeded. Proficiency in completing fuel quality control and knowledge of fuel quality control requirements to include NFPA and ATA103
