AssistantManagers atThis website is not operated by Jersey Mikes Franchise Systems. Jersey Mikes restaurants are independently owned and operated franchise locations. Franchisees are independent business owners who set their own wage and benefit programs which can vary between franchisees. Your application will go directly to the franchisee and all hiring decisions will be made by the franchisee.(d.b.a Jersey Mikes) perform various professionaladministrative and managerial functions in furtherance of assisting theOperations Partner (Ops Partner) in overall store operations. The AssistantManager works with the Operations Partner in overseeing Crew Members inpreparation and of food service i.e. making great submarinesandwiches and other food products. The expectation of any employee is touphold the highest level of all of Jersey Mikes Subs operational standards.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

oSales and assisting in netoperating profit of the business

oCompliance with standardpolicies and procedures

oAssisting with Crew Membertraining

oQualitycontrol and food safety

oSecurity and protection ofcompany assets

oCompliance with all citystate and federal codes and laws

oTeam building

oMaintainingcleanliness in the appearance of Crew Members seating area food preparationarea and exterior of the restaurant at all times.

oAdditionalresponsibilities as may be required by the Operations Partner

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

oConsiderable skill and knowledge in Crew Members relations; cooperativeproblem solving

oExperience and Ability to demonstrate effective leadership practices;communicate effectively; make basic decisions where established procedures donot always apply; operate a computer and apply various program applicationsboth proprietary and nonproprietary to JM Franchise Systems Inc. andThis website is not operated by Jersey Mikes Franchise Systems. oAccess to a reliable personal vehicle (some travel required for trainingpurposes)

PHYSICALDEMANDS:

o Incumbent of the position performs constant vigorousphysical tasks requiring long periods of standing walking stooping reachingand lifting all generally involving moderate muscular strain in addition toseeing hearing and talking. Safelyusing all store food preparation equipment for long periods with the requiredapplication of eye hand and finger dexterity.Must be able to lift and carry up to at least fifty 50 poundsunassisted. Periodic local travelrequired in normal course of job performance.
