Position Summary
The Nutrition and Dietetics Program at the School of Health & Human Sciences at IUPUI invites applicants for two positions: Program Director and Dietetic Internship Coordinator. These are Assistant/Associate tenure track faculty positions in clinical nutrition that will begin in June 2023. We are seeking candidates for the Program Director position who have a strong teaching and research background to direct our DND program and guide/support our undergraduate certificate. We are also seeking candidates for our Dietetic Internship Coordinator position who will lead the masters nutritional programs. The ideal candidates will have teaching and practice experience in clinical nutrition and familiarity with the accreditation standards specified by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics ACEND . The ND program is housed in the newly renovated Health Science Building which includes a stateoftheart teaching kitchen. . The ND program is part of a dynamic academic and research community in the School of Health and Human Sciences SHHS 15 research labs and institutes and over 400 clinical and community partnerships. IUPUI is Indianas premier urban public research university and holds a Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement. It is home to more than 27000 students pursuing degrees across 17 distinct schools including the Indiana University School of Medicine the largest medical school in the United States. IUPUIs innovative practices for health and life science have earned national recognition and offer numerous opportunities for collaborative interdisciplinary research efforts. SHHS provides undergraduate and graduate education in the areas of Kinesiology Health Sciences Tourism & Hospitality and Sport Management.
