Are you an experienced accountant looking for a meaningful role in a vital industry Our organization is seeking a detailoriented Staff Accountant to help drive financial accuracy and efficiency in the dynamic world of agriculture. This role offers the opportunity to work with a team that supports the backbone of Americas food supply ensuring financial stability and growth for our operations.
What Youll Do
Prepare and analyze financial records reports and statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Manage monthly closing and reconciliation activities maintaining accuracy in journal entries and general ledger records.
Provide insightful financial reporting and assist in developing annual plans budgets and forecast models.
Review and ensure accuracy of account records collaborating with the accounting team for continuous improvement.
Maintain proper documentation and utilize modern accounting technologies to streamline processes.
Ensure compliance with GAAP SOX controls and internal/external financial regulations.
Assist with internal and external audits ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
What Were Looking For
25 years of accounting experience preferably in an industryrelated field or with a strong interest in agriculture.
Solid understanding of GAAP financial reporting and general ledger reconciliation.
Proficiency in Excel ERP systems and financial software.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and improve financial processes.
A collaborative mindsetsomeone who enjoys working in a teamoriented environment.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors Degree in accounting required
25 years relevant experience required
