OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY
Fox TV StationsFOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas or DMAs and duopolies in 11 DMAs including the three largest DMAs (New York Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports entertainment and syndicated content our television stations collectively produce approximately 1200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Networks national content.JOB DESCRIPTION
Were hiring a ProducerPlanner to join the team behind LiveNOW from FOX FOX TV Stations national live streaming news product. LiveNOW is focused on bringing users the most relevant and engaging live news coverage occurring right now across the country and the world seamlessly moving between the biggest events and stories as they happen. LiveNOW is always raw live and unfiltered with limited commentary and no opinion.
Reporting to the Executive Producer the ProducerPlanner will research plan book live guests curate and produce content for live coverage of breaking news and important events as they happen giving users an inthemoment view of whats going on right now. This position is based in LiveNOWs newsroom at FOX 35 Orlando.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Research gather and produce relevant timely original content including breaking news and live coverage of major news events for use on digital social streaming and broadcast platforms nationwide. Help to execute the overall editorial plan coordinating with FOX O&O stations and other internal and external partners to receive live video feeds interviews reporter hits and other content. Develop and maintain close relationships with key contacts in each station. Monitor live video feeds newsgathering tools and social media for fresh content and the latest information. Constantly update our editorial calendar using it to plan and prepare for the future. Pitch story ideas. Stay up to date on news and current events. Monitor realtime analytics. Adhere to journalistic standards. Fill in for Digital Journalists as needed. Other duties assigned as deemed appropriate and necessary.
REQUIREMENTS: 3 years experience producing news content preferred. BA/BS degree preferably in Journalism Communications or related field. Techsavvy multitasker with strong knowledge of the technical aspects of digital news production including live streaming and video publishing. Superior news judgement. Impeccable organization skills. Unparalleled attention to detail. Proficient in tools used for webbased newsgathering tools content creation and monitoring digital analytics. Social media expert. Thrive under pressure. Stellar communication and presentation skills. Oncamera hosting or reporting experience a bonus. Varied hours including weekends and holidays as required.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements the pay rate/range for this role with final offer amount dependent on education skills experience and location is $65000.0075000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance a 401(k) plan paid time off and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.Employment Type
