Job Description
Braun Intertec is seeking a Construction Materials Lab Technician to join our Bloomington MN office. As a technician you will perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils concrete masonry and asphalt.
Responsibilities
- Receive and log concrete and soil samples
- Performs and understand various laboratory test procedures
- Assist in AMRL and CCRL (regulatory standards) assessments
- Assist with Braun Quality system for the laboratory
- Enter and understand lab data
- Maintain laboratory equipment in good operating condition.
- Other miscellaneous laboratory tasks as assigned
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form
- Proficient in MS Office including Word Excel and Outlook
- ACI MnDOT and related industry certifications preferred
Required Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of construction materials lab experience
- Must have valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record
- The ability to lift 5075 pounds
