HVAC Technician/Mechanical Inspector Trainee Muskegon MI

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced HVAC Technician/Mechanical Inspector Trainee to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic motivated selfstarters to work on a variety of work assignments. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating ventilation and air conditioning systems with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various HVAC equipment
- This role requires mechanical knowledge and a commitment to delivering highquality service to our clients
- Proficient in air conditioning installation and repair techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to plumb and build HVAC systems
- Ability to read and understand schematics for effective troubleshooting
- Experience in property maintenance related to HVAC operations
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested directed or assigned.
SKILLS:
- Knowledge of principles of airconditioning unit repair and maintenance including controls MSDS sheets safety practices and procedures and tools used.
- Knowledge of plumbing electrical sheet metal and carpentry work.
- Ability to read and interpret building regulations and codes implemented by city state and federal government agencies pertaining to installing airconditioning units.
- Ability to make moderately complex mathematical computations accurately.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and sketches.
- Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Hold a mechanical license from the state of MI in 3 of the 4 following categories for at least 1 year: (i) Hydronic heating and cooling and process piping; (ii) HVAC equipment; (iii) Refrigeration; (iv) Fire suppression
OR
- 6 years of experience under a licensed mechanical contractor in the performance of mechanical work in 3 of the 4 categories(i) Hydronic heating and cooling process piping; (ii) HVAC equipment; (iii) Refrigeration; (iv) Fire Suppression
- Willing to obtain state of MI Mechanical Inspector license (application cost covered by the company)
- Graduation from high school or equivalent and specialized training from vocational or technical schools preferred
- Valid drivers license and a good driving record
